2013: The Year of the Owl

What's going on, people?
There are owls everywhere:







 However, real owls aren't quite as cute and cuddly. In fact, they can be downright snooty:


This, though, is my favourite owl of all. It's a gift from a talented Polish lady called Anna, and I just love it.



When a friend saw it, she excitedly said: "You could make these!"
Yes, I probably could - but they'd never be as nice as Anna's.

They're taking over the world, by stealth.

That or they're part of the "folk art" fashion.

I prefer my theory. Love the owl Anna made.

You're right, they're here too! What used to be the Rail Bar is now the Two Hoots Tea Room

Their owls are pretty cool, though - carved by chainsaw.
