Sometimes, the blanket you make to use up your scraps (thrifty crafter here) takes on a life of its own, and it's no longer a little side project but starts to grow out of proportion.
So here's the blanket that created the scraps:
And here's the scrap blanket.
And here's the scrap on the scrap blanket.
Both your blankets look GREAT!!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteBoth blankets are beautiful. Love the black with the bold, bright colors. :)
ReplyDeleteFantastic colours, and he is cute.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, how handsome the Little Gingerbread Boy is! You are far more dedicated than me in using up your scraps. I feel virtuous that I've divvied them up by color family into separate bags before stuffing them in the back of the closet.
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog. I think I was googling "crochet plaid" or something. Anyhoo, I just wanted to say that your blog has sucked two days of my life away, as I've been forced to go back through and read your old posts. I got back to March 2011 and have decided that it's time to STOP! I MUST do laundry!!! My house is a wreck and needs attention!!! So, with great trepidation, I extricate myself from your blog. I shall return.
ReplyDeletePS - You have a beautiful baby and great talent (for yarncrafts and comedy). Keep up the good work! I look forward to reading more!

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely compliment to wake up to! Though now I'm not sure whether I ought to write more or less ;-) In any case, I've been remiss lately but have some nice photos to upload. I just have to gather my thoughts (my wits) and get down to it!
