You ...Hello Zoie!
There are no stupid questions :-)
You can either crochet ONLY into loop 3 (the very back loop) in each stitch, all the way down the row, every row, or you can crochet into loops 2+3 together. If you only crochet into loop 3, you'll have a looser fabric but a more pronounced rib - each row will stick out more - but if you crochet into 2+3 you'll have a slightly denser fabric (maybe better for a HWB?)The Gingerbread Ladyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11060553716262145464noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7907318835461639396.post-49853047574138311812013-01-21T21:52:04.116+01:002013-01-21T21:52:04.116+01:00This looks really good just one question on the se...This looks really good just one question on the second row and following rowss do you crochet in loops 2 and 3 in every stitch or just in the first one then go back to all 3? I guess I'll have to try it both ways when I buy my bottle and answer my own question! :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09798266405015899095noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7907318835461639396.post-6314443179037299682011-06-05T23:10:27.270+02:002011-06-05T23:10:27.270+02:00Hello Lyn,

I hope we've managed to seduce back into the world of crochet - be aware, though, that it's very addictive and I can't take the blame if you get (ahem) hooked :-)The Gingerbread Ladyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11060553716262145464noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7907318835461639396.post-85951227907761377012011-06-02T01:36:32.663+02:002011-06-02T01:36:32.663+02:00I have been searching for a simple hot water bottl...I have been searching for a simple hot water bottle cover to crochet. Not only have I found a pattern but I get free crochet lessons as well. Many thanks as I haven't picked up a crochet hook in years. This will keep me nice and cosy as we travel around western Queensland for a month in July. I guess the more popular option is an electric heating pad, but it just isn't the same. Once I find a HWB, I will have to try your pattern! :)~Christina https://www.blogger.com/profile/07634943407410336408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7907318835461639396.post-73010695825870787732010-12-28T06:30:33.622+01:002010-12-28T06:30:33.622+01:00Beautiful!
